A sinkhole was reported near the Parliament Building on the Sultan Iskandar Highway yesterday (8th March) at around 5pm. This blocked traffic on the left lane, causing heavy traffic towards Jalan Damansara.

Police officials and traffic wardens were on the scene, controlling the traffic while repair works were carried out to patch up the hole in the road.

Those driving from PWTC were advised to exit at Jalan Parlimen and take Jalan Kinabalu if they were driving towards the KL Seremban Highway to avoid the massive crawl.

As of 9am this morning, the sinkhole has been patched up and the road is reopened for access.
