If there’s one thing that sets great footballers apart from ordinary ones, it is consistency.
And you’ll find no better example of consistency than Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.

He made his 600th career league appearance in Juve’s 3-0 Serie A win over Spezia today (March 3).
This tally stretches all the way back to 2002 when Ronaldo first made his debut with Sporting Lisbon… followed by subsequent spells with Man United, Real Madrid and most recently, Juve.
To mark the occasion, the 36-year-old even got on the scoresheet against Spezia with what was his 20th Serie A goal of the season.
In doing so, Ronaldo now becomes the first player to score 20 or more goals over the past 12 seasons, across Europe’s top five leagues.
Speaking of consistently great players, Ronaldo’s old rival Lionel Messi is also refusing to be left behind.
Messi is currently on 19 La Liga goals for the season with Barcelona.
One more, and he’ll have scored at least 20 goals for 13 campaigns in a row…which would be one season better off than Ronaldo.
