Selangor residents, you must be tired of all the water cuts you’ve been getting this whole year, right?

Well, this might motivate you to fulfill a public duty to report on anyone committing these crimes.

The Selangor state government has announced it will offer a RM20,000 reward to anyone who has any information on environmental crimes which can lead authorities to the culprits.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari took to Facebook to say the reward is offered to get the public's involvement in combating environmental crime activities in the state.

“The state government has formulated various short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies to minimise the impact of river pollution on the people in Selangor.

“With public support and involvement, a joint responsibility to conserve water resources will be more effective and hopefully able to curb this unethical criminal activities,” he said.
