The second mission to bring back Malaysian citizens stranded in Wuhan city, China following the Covid-19 outbreak arrived early Wednesday morning (February 26), at 6.50am.

According to New Straits Times, a total of 66 Malaysians were on a special flight AK8265 which departed from Tianhe International Airport in Wuhan, at 1.45am.
The aircraft also carried 12 crew members, 9 Malaysian government representatives and 2 officers from the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing, making it 89 people on board.
Previously it was planned that 75 would be on the flight but some could not make it due to health, logistical, work and other reasons.
All passengers were required to undergo health screening at the Air Disaster Unit upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), before being sent to the Higher Education Leadership Academy - where they would be monitored for 14 days.
The first humanitarian aid mission carried out by the Malaysian government on February 4 brought home 107 Malaysians who were stranded in the Hubei province — which comprises of 88 Malaysians and 19 non-citizens who are their spouses and children.
