The flooding situation in Pahang is showing signs of improvement as there are fewer road closures.
However, another road in Sabah has been closed due to a landslide caused by heavy rains.
According to the Public Works Department’s (PWD) Facebook page, a total of 40 locations are currently affected by natural disasters.
The types of disasters in those locations are as follows:
- Flash flood = 1 location
- Stagnant floodwaters = 2 locations
- Landslides= 25 locations
- Sinkholes = 10 locations
- Collapsed/Damaged bridges = 2 locations
