Things are looking much better on our roads nationwide! In yesterday’s update (January 18th), we reported that many roads in Sabah were fully closed due to heavy rains that have been going on the past few days.

However, most of these roads have already been reopened, and only three roads are closed now.

Meanwhile, the number of road closures in Pahang has also dropped thanks to the improving weather.

A total of 43 locations are currently affected by the natural disaster.

The types of disasters in those locations are as follows:

  1. Flash flood = 1 location
  2. Stagnant floodwaters = 7 locations
  3. Landslides= 23 locations
  4. Sinkholes = 10 locations
  5. Collapsed/Damaged bridges = 2 locations

The following list shows all the road closures as of January 19th, 2021.
