Over Half Of The New COVID-19 Cases Reported Yesterday Is From The Klang Valley

Last week, on Thursday (13 November), Health director-general Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the rising number of new COVID-19 cases in the Klang Valley is worrying.

… and now, Malaysia has added another 1,208 more COVID-19 patients on Sunday (15 November), including 661 in the Klang Valley.

According to The Star, DG Hisham reported that there were 381 new cases reported in Sabah and described that state’s COVID-19 situation as stable. 

By location, 475 cases were from Kuala Lumpur including 6 imported cases, 185 cases in Selangor, and one in Putrajaya. 

Out of the Klang Valley cases, 594 were from existing clusters. The Damanlela construction site recorded the highest number of cases at 460.

Three deaths were also reported on Sunday which were all from Sabah and involved an eight-year-old girl, a 77-year-old woman, and a 63-year-old man.
