A man In Kuching, Sarawak, Bohri Jalil literally escaped death after being attacked by a crocodile at Kampung Tabuan Melayu on Sunday morning (June 5th).

Bohri told the Borneo Post that he was doing some repairs on his house, which was located near a river when he felt the reptile’s jaw gripping his torso. He then started slapping the crocodile in a desperate attempt to escape.
Fortunately, he managed to escape but with some minor lacerations on his body.
His daughter, Zairina Bohri said that she heard her mother screaming before running out of the house to see what had happened, “I heard my mother screaming: ‘Amoi, bapak kau kenak serang boyak ya!’” which translates to ‘Girl, your father is being attacked by a crocodile.’

Bohri had since been treated for his wounds at a nearby health clinic.
So far, this is the second crocodile attack reported in Sarawak within a month, the last one being in Telaga Ai involving a seven-year-old boy on May 21st.
The boy’s remains had not been found since.
