Scammers are very good at what they do, and they can be very good at convincing you that they are who they say they are.

Recently, a Malaysian man lost RM2.5 million to a scammer on the phone who were pretending they were from a local courier service company.
In the Facebook post shared by Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersil - JSJK PDRM, said: “While on the phone, the scammer said that the man had sent a parcel over to Sabah which contains a copy of an IC, ATM card, and a chequebook, then proceeded to ask the man to bank-in money to two separate bank accounts.”

The Malaysian Commercial Crime Investigation Unit also advises Malaysians to:
Not pick up any phone call from unknown or suspicious numbers
Put down the phone if you feel that the call is suspicious
Check with relevant parties if the information given is true.
Scammers can sometimes be very convincing, so please DO NOT fall into their trap. Always be careful and informed, okay, guys?
