Malaysia’s Royal Families Have Donated Equipment To Our Frontliners

On top of preparing her delicious recipes for the frontliners who are tirelessly working to protect us, the Queen, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, has also donated beds to hospitals.

The news came after Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah thanked the Raja Permaisuri Agong on Facebook for donating 100 beds to the Sungai Buloh Hospital and 50 beds to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

"The Health Ministry would like to express our utmost gratitude and thanks to Her Royal Highness for the contributions.”

"We hope that it will boost the spirit of our healthcare workers in order to continue their efforts to save our country," he wrote on Facebook on Sunday (April 2) and shared a few pictures of the health workers receiving the beds.

The Queen wasn’t the only one who donated much-needed hospital equipment during Malaysia’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Star reported that in Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar had also donated 42 ventilators to Johor hospitals that significantly boost Johor’s standing in fighting the virus outbreak.

The Sultan of Johor handed out the donation to state Health Department director Dr. Aman Rabu at Istana Pasir Pelangi on Saturday (April 11).

“The ventilators that we give out are donations from donors, as well as my friends, where I understand the current situation of hospitals needing the machine to treat patients.

“This is a cooperation between myself, friends, donors, as well as the state government, to lessen the government’s burden, ” added the Johor royal.

We thank the royal families for their contribution. We’re all in this together!
