Those who failed to produce their letters of approval from the police station or do not have valid reasons to enter Kelantan will be ordered to turn back!

According to the Malay Mail, Kelantan chief of police, DCP Shafien Mamat said that the firm instruction is an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus into the state. 

Travellers who arrived at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport who failed to show their approval letter will not be allowed to enter the state, “Do not try to make fake excuses for interstate travel as the attempts would only inconvenience others,” he warns the public.

Roadblocks in Kelantan will be carried out mainly at four locations in the state namely two in Pasir Puteh and one each in Jeli and Gua Musang, “Starting from midnight, the state will also be conducting 24 hours roadblocks. We are confident that people understand and will obey the SOPs given.”

He added: “The police have also sought the assistance of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) to assist police officers at each roadblock.”

Starting today (9 November), the conditional movement control order is enforced in all states in Peninsular Malaysia, except Pahang, Kelantan, and Perlis until 6 December.
