Klang Valley residents will have to rely on fetched and bottled water yet again, after Air Selangor announced that it detected odour pollution at its treatment plants yet again.
It’s understood that the water treatment plants at SSP 1, 2, 3 and Rantau Panjang were found to be contaminated at 12.45pm today (November 10th).
The unscheduled water cuts will commence from 6:00pm in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Langat.
You can find the whole list of affected areas here.
Air Selangor did not say when it’s expected to resolve the issue, but you can stay updated through their social media pages.
This is the ninth time this year that water supply in the Klang Valley has been disrupted, and let’s hope this is the last!
