Talks of a drive-in cinema in KL are no longer just words!
Organisers, M-Junction - the team behind the ever-popular Plane in The City and Dine in The Sky - confirmed that the project will open on Tuesday, July 28th at the Lanai parking lot beside MaTiC along Jalan Ampang.
It’s only set to open for the next three months.
How’s the experience going to be? Well, let’s try to paint a picture for you the best we can.
It’s going to be a 9x4m LED screen, along with audio from your own radio player which are connected via Bluetooth or Aux port.
If you drive an old car, don’t sweat! You will be provided with a Bluetooth speaker if need be.
According to Malay Mail, only 50 cars will be allowed in per screening, with smaller cars parked in front and bigger ones at the back.
So if you want front-row “seats”, you might want to make sure you’re bringing a small car.
There will be two screenings per day with the first session running from 7:30pm until 9:00pm and the second one from 9:00pm onwards.
For now, it’s unclear exactly what movies are going to be screened, but apparently they’re going to show popular movies that people will want to watch over and over again.
