We all know ice is slang for methamphetamine, a stimulant drug. But what about ice cubes that are literally drugs?
The Star reported that police recently arrested a man for processing drugs at a house in Jalan Kuchai Lama.
Going for only RM120, buyers can get their hands on ice cubes laced with drugs - a pretty effective attempt at deceiving the authorities.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said the 33-year-old suspect rented the house and turned it into a drug-processing laboratory of sorts. It was believed to have been running for about three months now. The suspect himself was tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
“Police seized 14 plastic packages containing ketamine, five plastic containers containing ketamine and 27 ecstasy pills, all worth over RM490,000. The suspect is also believed to be working closely with nightclub operators to supply the ice cubes at night clubs around the Klang Valley, ” he added.
On top of that, investigations also revealed that the drugs were more than enough to be supplied to 8,000 users and was also being marketed to neighbouring countries - definitely not the kind of export we should be proud of.
“The suspect has been remanded for seven days beginning Dec 20 and the case is being investigated under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code and Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, ” Datuk Seri Mazlan said.
This is definitely something to take note of, so be alert especially when you go out for a night of partying!
