For all of you who have been collecting your traffic samans – good news! Now you can finally pay them off with a discount.

You can get a 50% discount for all your outstanding summonses from this Saturday, 18th January to 1st February, said Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Director, Datuk Azisman Alias.
Not only that, you don’t even have to queue in line for hours just to pay your summonses because you can do it online now, which makes it a whole lot faster and easier!
According to The Star, Azisman said that this year, the police are encouraging citizens to use e-payment methods such as MyEG and rilek.com.my to settle their outstanding summonses, especially during this festive season.
So, if you’ve got some unsettled traffic summons hidden away in your car’s glove box (Yes, we know where you hide them) go ahead and pay them this weekend, ok?
Be careful on the roads, and don’t lah kena saman anymore!
