According to The Star, its director Yusof Shariff said the officers had home to the area for monitoring purposes, but no tiger was found.

“There is a possibility that the tiger had gone back into the Bukit Tapah permanent forest reserve nearby.

“We will, however, continue to monitor from time to time to ensure the safety of the public, as well as the safety of the tiger itself,” he said.

This comes after a harimau was seen walking in some bushes in a short video, which then went viral online. The incident allegedly happened in Perak.

In the video, it stated that the tiger is seen at the side of the Simpang Pulai road, leading to Cameron Highlands.

Aww, the poor thing must be lost and so confused! We hope it found its way back into the forest and is safe from cars and poachers!
