The Rugby World Cup happens once every 4 years and 2019 will be the first time the RWC will be hosted in Asia. Japan was chosen to host 20 top teams from the northern and southern hemisphere in this inaugural tournament, dubbed the hardest RWC ever. 

A total of 48 games will take place among the 20 teams which are divided into 4 pools. This will go on for over a month in 12 venues across Japan.

Pool A consists of Ireland, Scotland, Russia and the hosts, Japan.

Defending champions New Zealand, which is looking for a 3-peat, is in Pool B together with arch rivals South Africa, Italy, Namibia and Canada.

Dubbed as the pool of death, Pool C comprises of England, France, Argentina, USA and Tonga.

Finally, in Pool D there is Wales, Georgia, Fiji, Uruguay and 2-time former champions, Australia.
