Frank Lampard may just get to keep his job as Chelsea manager, at least for the time being.
This, despite reports that he’s on shaky ground at Stamford Bridge after the Blues recently suffered a fourth defeat in six league matches.

Insiders have pointed out three reasons why Lampard is likely safe.
1.Chelsea’s European form
The board of directors is reluctant to make any drastic changes so as not to disrupt Chelsea’s impressive Champions League campaign.
They recently finished the group stage as winners without losing a single match, and will take on Atletico Madrid in the knockout round next month.
2.Player support
Its also believed that Lampard still commands the support and respect of most of his dressing room.
Sources say many of the young players that the manager has utilized this season are grateful for the chance to play for him.
3. No replacements available yet
But the clearest indicator that Lampard will be kept on, is the fact that his potential replacements are either no longer available or have not been contacted.
Mauricio Pochettino, long-rumoured to be a possible candidate for the Chelsea job, has since taken over at PSG.
Another potential successor, ex-Juventus boss Max Allegri, is also not believed to have been contacted about a future role at Stamford Bridge.
While ex-PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, who is available, is understood to not be a favourite among the Chelsea hierarchy.

These developments could just buy the time that Lampard needs to get his squad back in order again.
However, failure to do so quickly, coupled with any sort of setback in Europe, could just see the former midfielder kicked out of the Chelsea hotseat.
