Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland is fast making a name for himself as one of Europe’s most lethal attackers.

The 20-year-old has now become the fastest player in history to score 15 goals in the Champions League.
He needed just 12 matches to hit the milestone - scoring twice in Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Brugge this morning.
This is seven games fewer than the previous record held by Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Roberto Soldado.

It also brings Haaland’s overall tally in the Champions League to 16…meaning he’s now netted more goals in Europe’s premier club competition than legends like (Brazilian) Ronaldo, Miroslav Klose and Zinedine Zidane.
This prolific form will come as no surprise if you’ve been following the young Norwegian’s career.
Just last week, Haaland won the European Golden Boy award – which is given out to the best player under the age of 21 from the continent’s top-tier leagues.

This, after he hit an incredible 44 goals in 40 appearances for two different clubs last season (Dortmund and RB Salzburg).
Its safe to say Haaland has a bright future ahead of him, and if he keeps his form up, you can be certain the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona or one of the Premiership’s big clubs will come knocking on his door.
