Other than worrying about the symptoms (if a person contracted the virus), no one can deny the impact of the panic that this virus has caused.

The Ministry of Health (MOH), in their tweet, explained the emotional and psychological effects that some people could face due to this outbreak.

The panic of the Covid-19 situation can affect a person emotionally and psychologically, and the symptoms include:

  1. Sleep disturbance
  2. Appetite changes
  3. Worrying
  4. Quick to get offended
  5. Palpitations
  6. Inability to focus
  7. Gets upset quickly and cries easily
  8. Difficulty breathing
  9. Loss of interests in activities

MOH stressed that these are not symptoms of the Covid-19 virus but more the fear due to the outbreak of the virus itself.

If you’re facing some of these symptoms - please see a doctor and have yourself checked okay! Don’t forget to also take care of your health and avoid crowded places.
