Over 20 Genting Highland Premium Outlet stores have been ordered to close temporarily after a shopper tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement by the management of Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, they said that the management was informed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) that a shopper had visited their outlet stores on 16 November.
According to contact tracing, the shopper had visited the following stores:
Asics Factory Outlet
BALL WATCH
Calvin Klein
Cotton On
G2000 Outlet
Lacoste Outlet
Onitsuka Tiger
Prayer room
Nike Factory Store
Sacoor Outlet
Vincci
Genting Highlands Premium Outlet stated that they have ensured that their outlet stores remained clean and sanitised, and have implemented all mitigation steps and public safety measures since the beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, the Bentong Municipal Council in a statement said that the businesses under the management of Genting Malaysia Berhad have been instructed to close temporarily, including an additional 44 locations.
These premises are only allowed to operate again after disinfection activities are carried out.
