CMCO: Schools In Seremban Will Be Closed For 14 Days Starting 5 November

All educational institutions in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) will be ordered to close from Thursday (5 November) for 14 days following the district’s clarifications as a COVID-19 red zone.

In a statement, MOE said that the closure includes kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, Teacher Education Institutions (IPG), as well as private schools registered with the ministry.

According to Astro Awani, during the school closure periods, school administrators as well as all educational institutions are instructed to ensure that teachers, teaching staff, and students continue with the teaching and learning process at home.

Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that the Conditional Movement Control Order will be implemented in the Seremban district in Negeri Sembilan from Thursday until 18 November.

The CMCO will cover nine mukims, namely Ampangan, Seremban, Bandar Seremban, Labu, Rantau, Rasah, Setul, Pantai and Lenggeng.
