On Friday (March 19th), the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) recalled a batch of eggs from Malaysian farms due to detected Salmonella enteritidis bacteria, which can cause food poisoning.

In a statement that was shared on Facebook, AEON Retails Malaysia said that there is no specific brand or size of the recalled eggs, however, they are sharing the information for consumer alert.
“Please be informed that the affected eggs are not by brand, but it is traceable by batch which is the CEM014 batches,” they said.

In another comment, AEON added that the affected eggs are from the brand HLRB, batch CEM014.
The Salmonella enteritidis bacteria may cause food poisoning if it's consumed raw or if it’s undercooked, so make sure to cook your eggs properly okay!
If you suddenly feel ill or terrible sakit perut after eating eggs, go see a doctor immediately!
