Terengganu and Kelantan continue to be the two states most severely affected by the floods, with a total of 64,598 people evacuated to temporary relief centers as of 6:44 am on Wednesday (21 December).
The welfare department stated that there are currently 368 relief centers across five states namely Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor, Pahang, and Perak.

Terengganu recorded the largest number of evacuees with 34,383 in 245 relief centers. These include children, senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
In Kelantan, a total of 30,107 flood victims have been placed in 119 relief centers.
Meanwhile, in Johor, the number of evacuees stands at 48, 34 in Pahang and 26 in Perak.
