About 19,000 flood victims from 6,000 families are still taking shelter at 124 relief centers nationwide.

According to FMT, the social welfare department stated that there were 11,830 evacuees at 84 centers in Pahang, the worst affected state as of 10 am on Tuesday (December 28th). The centers are at Kuantan, Pekan, Bentong, Temerloh, Bera and Maran.

Selangor had 7,503 flood victims including 35 disabled people, 254 senior citizens, 2,199 children and 185 infants, housed at 36 relief centers.

In Negeri Sembilan, 54 victims from 18 families are still at two relief centers, while Melaka and Kelantan had one relief center each with 26 and 78 evacuees, respectively.
