One such feature, called Silence Unknown Callers, empowers users with greater control over incoming calls on the platform. By screening out spam, scams, and calls from unknown contacts, this feature provides enhanced protection.

Although these calls will still be visible in the call log, they will not ring on your phone. This allows you to verify the caller's number before deciding whether to answer, ensuring that you prioritize calls from known contacts. To access this feature, simply navigate to the 'Calls' section under 'Privacy' in your WhatsApp settings.
In addition, WhatsApp has introduced the Privacy Checkup feature, which enables users to have more control over the privacy settings of their chats, calls, and personal information. By going to the WhatsApp settings and selecting the privacy settings, users will encounter the Privacy Checkup prompt, which offers a range of options to customize their privacy preferences.
Users can now determine who can contact them, manage their personal information, enable disappearing messages, and even add an extra layer of security by implementing app lock, ensuring that only authorized users have access to their WhatsApp.
These options provide users with the flexibility to tailor their privacy settings according to their individual preferences and needs.
