On the magical night of June 9, 2024, IU graced Kuala Lumpur with her presence for the second night of her highly anticipated HEREH World Tour.

Held at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, the concert was nothing short of spectacular, and it’s a night that we, along with thousands of other Uaenas, will remember forever.
Even before the concert began, the atmosphere outside the arena was electric. Fans, dressed in beautiful outfits and some even cosplaying as IU, gathered with their lightsticks in hand, creating a sea of anticipation and excitement.
Adding to the pre-concert excitement, fans were delighted to receive a special door gift from IU’s mom: a charming tin box containing a keyring, a button badge and some photocards. How adorable!
We found our seats around 7 PM, and the concert began promptly at 7:30 PM. As the lights dimmed and the opening notes played, IU took the stage, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Her entrance set the tone for what would be an unforgettable evening, with fantastic stage production that left everyone in awe.
IU’s setlist was masterfully divided into five parts: HYPNOTIC, ENERGETIC, ROMANTIC, ECSTATIC, and HEROIC, spelling out the name of her tour, HEREH. She kicked off her performance with "Holssi" from her latest album The Winning, a track that immediately energised the crowd. The arena buzzed with excitement as IU delivered hit after hit, including iconic songs like "Jam Jam," "Blueming," "Celebrity," "Eight," "LILAC," "Shopper," and even an acoustic rendition of "Strawberry Moon" and "Palette."
Throughout the night, IU’s interaction with her fans was heartwarming. She showered the audience with affection, giving out sunflowers and coins as tokens of appreciation for their unwavering support and energy. Her efforts to connect with the fans were evident, especially when she spoke several phrases in Bahasa Melayu, much to the delight of the audience.
The concert concluded with an en-encore that left everyone in high spirits, wishing the night would never end. IU’s performance was a perfect blend of mesmerising vocals, dynamic dance routines, and genuine fan interaction, creating a concert experience that was both intimate and grand.
As the night drew to a close, we couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude towards IU for bringing her HEREH World Tour to Malaysia. Her performance in Kuala Lumpur was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of music, love, and the unbreakable bond between IU and her Uaenas.
