The SYOK team attended BABYMETAL’s BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2025-2026 IN ASIA on October 6th at Zepp KL, and it was truly an unforgettable night!
We arrived just before the show began and met up with our friends from ACO Media, the organisers who kindly invited us to check out the concert. The venue was already filled with fans buzzing with excitement, chanting “BABYMETAL” even before the lights dimmed. You could feel the energy pulsing through the room.
At around 8:10 PM, the girls made their explosive entrance and kicked off their set with BABYMETAL DEATH, Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!, PA PA YA!!, METALI!!, and KxAxWxAxIxI. The crowd went absolutely wild, singing along to every word and move.
Even though BABYMETAL has visited KL several times before and Astro Audio has been the official media for many of their past shows, this was actually the SYOK team’s first BABYMETAL concert. We went in without any expectations, but wow, we were completely blown away. Since we usually cover mostly K-pop events, this was a whole new experience for us, and it took just a few minutes before we were headbanging along with everyone else.
The girls impressed us not only with their performance but also with how much they engaged with fans. They took photos on stage with fans’ phones, interacted playfully during songs, and even spoke a little Bahasa Melayu to make the crowd feel extra special.
The night continued with crowd favourites like RATATATA, Gimme Chocolate!!, and Road of Resistance as the encore, which sent the fans into a frenzy.
We may have gone in without expectations, but best believe we were blasting KON! KON! and My Queen all the way home after the show.
It was incredible seeing BABYMETAL back in KL, thank you for an amazing night!
