The Creativity Camp, spearheaded by Jacinth Liew (@ourlittleplaynest), features a unique curriculum focused on inspiring girls to experiment, take creative risks, and embrace failure through LEGO play. Parents attending the camp will also receive valuable tools and tips to support their daughters' creative journey.

Over the course of two days, participants will delve into the importance of adopting a growth mindset and engage in various LEGO building activities aimed at boosting girls' creative confidence by removing the burden of perfection.

Registration for this exclusive event is now open via RSVP only. The Creativity Camp welcomes girls aged 6 to 12, accompanied by one parent. RSVP here, moms and dads!

Empowering Creative Confidence through Play

The LEGO Group aims to empower girls by freeing them from the constraints of perfection and encouraging them to embrace the freedom of Play Unstoppable through creative play. With a diverse range of LEGO playsets catering to various interests and passions, young girls can create endless worlds across themes like LEGO Friends, Disney Princess™, Creator, Classic, DREAMZzz™, Harry Potter™, Minecraft®, Gabby's Dollhouse, and the new Animal Crossing™ theme.

For instance, the LEGO Friends theme enables children to explore real-life scenarios such as environmental conservation and community interaction, fostering creativity and empathy. Meanwhile, LEGO DREAMZzz™ offers imaginative building sets with story-led instructions, empowering kids to create fantastical creatures and vehicles.

New sets for this year include the LEGO® Friends Vintage Fashion Store, promoting sustainability through upcycled clothing; the LEGO® Disney Princess™ Market Adventure, offering endless play possibilities; the LEGO® Creator Tropical Ukulele, inspiring creativity; the LEGO® DREAMZzz™ Zoey and Zian the Cat-Owl set, encouraging imaginative play; and the LEGO® Animal Crossing™ Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House, allowing kids to customize their world.

Jacinth Liew, Parenting Coach at Our Little Playnest, shares actionable tips for parents to nurture their daughters' creativity through LEGO play:

  • Parents can build LEGO trophies with the LEGO Friends Olly and Paisley’s Family Houses to celebrate each other's strengths.

  • They can create sculptures with LEGO Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall to tell stories and overcome obstacles together.

  • Encourage imaginative thinking by building a futuristic fashion store with LEGO Friends Vintage Fashion Store.

LEGO sets are available at LEGO Certified Stores, the LEGO Official Store on Lazada, Shopee, LEGOLAND™, and major retailers in Malaysia!
