Cadbury Unveils The New Richer, More Chocolatey Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate To Captivate Malaysian Taste Buds

Cadbury is inviting chocolate lovers across Malaysia to fall in love all over again. As one of the nation’s most cherished chocolate brands, Cadbury has introduced a new and improved recipe for its classic Cadbury Dairy Milk, now richer, creamier, and more indulgent than ever.

Alongside the taste upgrade, the range also welcomes a new King Size 200g bar and a redesigned chunk shape for a more satisfying bite every time.

Produced with care at Cadbury’s Shah Alam plant—where over 250 chocolate-makers craft each bar—the updated Dairy Milk continues the brand’s legacy of quality and innovation. Certified Halal by JAKIM since 1994, the plant upholds the highest standards of food safety and sustainability, including the use of recyclable packaging, renewable energy, and responsibly sourced cocoa through Mondelēz International’s Cocoa Life programme.

“We’ve been a part of Malaysians’ lives for over 75 years,” said See Mei Sin, Marketing Head of Mondelēz International (Malaysia & Singapore). “Cadbury Dairy Milk has always brought people together—to share joy, celebrate special moments, and create new memories. This upgrade is our way of giving fans an even more enriching chocolate experience—one that’s truly richer and more chocolatey with every bite.”

More Than Just Chocolate

Rooted in its signature “Glass and a Half” spirit of generosity, Cadbury continues to spread kindness in meaningful ways. Campaigns like “For You I Would” and “Cadbury Kuih Raya Dari Hati” reflect this commitment.

In partnership with MyKasih Foundation, the “Kuih Raya Dari Hati” programme empowers women from underserved communities to bake festive treats, generate income, and support those in need during Hari Raya. Since its 2021 launch, the initiative has grown into a national movement. In 2024, it was even recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for the baking of 150,000 Cadbury chocolate tarts, donated to over 30 welfare homes through the Food Aid Foundation. The campaign not only supported charity but also created real job opportunities and built community spirit during the festive season.
