Astro has expanded its offerings for Ultra and Ulti Box users, now granting access to the SYOK and My Astro apps, totaling 14 premium apps.
This enhanced Astro Box combines top-tier streaming entertainment with high-quality radio streaming, news, articles, videos, podcasts, contests, and traffic updates, along with simplified subscription management.
SYOK, a local lifestyle and entertainment app created by Malaysians for Malaysians, joins My Astro, a user-friendly portal for managing Astro accounts.
Additionally, customers can enjoy over 60 online radio stations covering a wide range of music genres and languages, including ballads, classics, dance, K-pop, hip-hop, and more. Access to over 360 podcasts in Bahasa Melayu, English, Chinese, and Tamil, including popular shows like Life Confession, Sembang Atas Dulang, and Selebriti Podcast, is also available.
Responding to customer feedback, Astro has made subscription management seamless through My Astro, allowing Ultra and Ulti Box customers to access the app on their TV, in addition to mobile devices. Features include account management, bill payment via QR code, purchasing add-ons, and upgrading TV packs.
Customers can also download the My Astro app on their mobile devices to receive exclusive rewards, such as concert tickets and event passes.
With these additions, Astro users can now access a total of 14 premium apps, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Viu, ZEE5, HBO GO, and more.
