You just tested positive for COVID-19... Now what?

Don’t worry, just wait for Ministry of Health (MOH) officers to call you, and they will tell you whether you’re going to one of the quarantine centres in the country, or if you’re fit to be quarantined at home.

Wondering what you should bring to the quarantine centre? Well, we hope this quarantine packing checklist will help you on the things to bring for quarantine.

However, these are just our suggestions, and if you have any other things that you want to bring, you can! 

Clothing and footwear 

  1. Two-weeks worth of clothes

  2. Sweater and socks 

  3. Towel

  4. Bathroom slippers

  5. Sandals

Medicine

  1. Any vitamins and supplements that you’re already taking

  2. Panadol or ointment for the headaches

  3. Throat lozenges for the sore throat

  4. Plasters for cuts, just in case! 

Food essentials

Don’t worry, you will be provided with food at least three times a day, so these are just for snacking in between meals or whenever you’re hungry

  1. Cereal bar

  2. Instant coffee or tea

  3. Noodle cups

  4. Biscuits or dry snacks

  5. Condiment packages like chilli sauce, tomato sauce and soy sauce

Don’t forget to bring these as well...

  1. A mug

  2. Ziplock bag

  3. Water tumbler

  4. Large food container can be used as plates and food storage

Electronics

  1. Your phone and a laptop, or just a phone should be fine

  2. Travel adapter

  3. Phone charger and cables

  4. Laptop charger

  5. Powerbank

Toiletries

  1. Toothbrush and toothpaste

  2. Shampoo and shower gel if you prefer to bring your own

  3. Shaver and shaving cream if you need it

  4. Sanitary pads are a must for women

  5. Skincare products

  6. Face masks, for extra pampering when you’re there

  7. Hand sanitisers

  8. Wet wipes and tissues

  9. Nail clippers and a pair of small scissors

Miscellaneous

  1. Books or magazines

  2. Bring your phone or laptop with a movie or a book subscription to keep you company

  3. Laundry bag and some powder detergent

  4. Board games or card games if you have extra space in your bag
