Every year on April 2nd, people all around the globe celebrate World Autism Awareness Day!
This year, Intermark Mall is proud to collaborate with ARTJAMILA for the first time, to showcase the works of the award-winning savant artist and to raise autism awareness in conjunction with 2021 World Autism Awareness Day.
The exhibition is part of Embrace Autism, Intermark Mall’s annual campaign, themed “Art & Autism” this year, it is inspired by the international theme “Celebrating Unique Talent”.
And with Malaysian awareness of autism increasing over the years and to give its full support to this important initiative, Intermark Mall is proud to be the venue host of the exhibition.
The best part is, for every painting purchased by the public, a portion of the proceeds will go to the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) to benefit those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Full-Time Artist | Artjamila (Autistic Savant Artist)
Wan Jamila, known professionally as Artjamila, is a world-renowned savant artist who had broken all barriers at a very young age, able to create art purely from her soul without any formal art education. Just so you know, artistically-inclined savants create and perform their art with absolute ease. To them, it is as natural as breathing. Some can hear a piano concerto once and play it back flawlessly. Others can catch a fleeting glimpse of a moving animal and recreate it perfectly in clay.
