1. Sunway Lagoon, Subang Jaya

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, located in Subang Jaya, Selangor is only a 25-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. Built for adrenaline rush lovers and water activity enthusiasts, this multi-zone theme park offers the ultimate theme park experience and houses the world’s largest man-made surf beach!

2. Zoo Negara, Gombak

Zoo Negara is situated 13km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur and is home to 5137 animals from 476 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Visitors can expect to enjoy the ultimate jungle experience as over 90% of its animals are kept in spacious exhibits with landscapes replicating their natural habitat.

3. Farm in the City, Seri Kembangan

Located in Seri Kembangan, about 20 minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur, Farm in the City offers visitors a unique and non-traditional zoo experience. Set in a typical Malaysian village environment surrounded by fruit trees and farm animals, visitors are able to pet and feed the animals while learning about them. There’s even a section where kids can go inside the rabbit and guinea pig’s enclosure to play with them!

4. Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor

Bukit Malawati or Malawati Hill is located in the coastal town of Kuala Selangor, a 30-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. With a fortress built in the late 18th century situated on top of the hill, the high ground provides a magnificent view of the town, as well as the Straits of Malacca.

If you trust your athleticism, you could take the steep walk uphill or else, there is a tram ride service on weekends that run up the hill. There are also many other attractions in Malawati Hill such as the lighthouse, the royal mausoleum, an observation tower, a museum, the 200-year-old Sena trees and not to forget the friendly monkeys!

5. KidZania, Petaling Jaya

From doctors to firefighters, your children can become whoever they want to be at Kidzania KL!
