HUGO BOSS has launched #BOSSTOGETHERMY, a series of monthly gastronomical collaborations from August to December with different local food & beverage partners.

The campaign is being carried out in support of local businesses and The Lost Food Project - a Malaysian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing discarded food that’s still good to eat, and giving it to people who need it most.

“We know that this period is extremely challenging for everyone and we would like to do our part to support local businesses as much as we can and also to help the less fortunate through The Lost Food Project. With this initiative, we hope that we can encourage people to pay it forward as we all continue to do our little part to support the economy,” said Steven Lam, Managing Director of HUGO BOSS South East Asia Pte Ltd.

For the first partnership, BOSS teamed up with De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan for a truly Malaysian menu in celebration of our 63rd National Day, with the MY Unity Set Menu.

This exclusive menu, put together by none other than Datuk Dr. Chef Wan, consists of a five-course authentic classic Malaysian meal ranging from Rendang Daging Rusa, to Live Fish Sea Bass, and Udang Kari Masala, to highlight a few.

“I am super excited to be part of this amazing #BOSSTOGETHERMY collaboration! I think it’s great that brands from different industries are coming together to support each other and furthermore, to support a greater cause, the community, especially during this time. This initiative in conjunction with Merdeka is a perfect reminder for all us to celebrate the little things we used to take for granted,” said Chef Wan.

Ten percent of the proceeds from this menu will be donated to The Lost Food Project.

Also, with every purchase of this menu, customers will receive a limited edition MY Unity tiffin, specially illustrated by talented local artist, Tiffany Choong.

Upcoming collaborations for the campaign will see partnerships with other F&B partners, including Siti Li for October, Madam Kwans for November and Kenny Hills Bakers for December.

For your information, more than 820 million people in the world struggle with hunger every day, and in Malaysia, 3,000 tonnes of edible food is thrown away each day, which is enough to provide 10 million meals.

So let’s do our part to help stop excessive food wastage!
