check out these spray-painted kolam designs this deepavali season!

As you already know by now, Deepavali just isn’t the same this year, with interstate travel still banned amid the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in most of the country.

But if you’re looking to get into the festive spirit, check out Fahrenheit88’s ‘Bling Bling Deepavali’ showcase!

From now till November 15th, Fahrenheit88 is celebrating the festival of lights with colourful decorations, including nine intricate kolams, designed by artist and founder of Niuniu’s Gallery, Vivian Ng.

But these aren’t your usual kolam designs, which are traditionally drawn using rice flour, chalk, chalk powder or rock powder - these designs are spray-painted!

In an official statement, Fahrenheit88 said the painted kolam designs are on a base layer of colourful spray painting on round canvases as an expression of originality, warmth, strength and generosity, bringing luck to all Malaysians.
