Recently, in Johor, two compassionate police officers came to the aid of a young student who was spotted walking alone on the road in her school's sports attire, without any supervision or legal guardians in sight.

During their routine patrol, the officers immediately approached the child, concerned for her well-being, and inquired about her destination. It was revealed that she had missed the bus and was attempting to make her way to school, with a remaining distance of 1.5 kilometers. Although this distance may seem insignificant to many capable of walking much farther, it was a significant journey for the young child. Recognizing the importance of her safety, the officers promptly arranged to accompany her to school.
With the assistance of the caring residents of Taman Johor Jaya, the police officers successfully escorted the child to school, ensuring her safe arrival at the doorstep. They patiently waited until her teacher arrived, informing them about the situation and requesting that they inform the child's legal guardian.
Taking this opportunity, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) seized the moment to remind all parents of the crucial responsibility to always supervise their children and never leave them unattended, especially in areas where potential dangers may lurk. This precautionary measure aims to prevent any untoward incidents from occurring.
