BTS RM's Donation Sparks One Student's Dream, Now A Member Of First Ever Deaf Boy Group!

Back in 2019, BTS RM's act of kindness during his birthday inspired a student, leading to the creation of a very special boy group called Big O!cean.

Under PARASTAR Entertainment, Big O!cean has caught the attention of many with their unique music style, known as S-Pop, where they sing using sign language. This includes Korean Sign Language (KSL), American Sign Language (ASL), and International Sign Language (ISL), making their music enjoyable for everyone.

In a recent interview, the members of Big O!cean shared their journey into the K-Pop world. Jiseok, one of the members, shared how RM from BTS influenced his dream to become an idol.

When asked about their dream collaborations, Jiseok expressed his admiration for RM. He mentioned that RM's donation to his school's music education program was what inspired him to pursue his passion for music and dance.

RM's generous donation of ₩100 million KRW (about $72,500 USD) showed how BTS members not only excel in music but also make a positive impact in the world.

It's a reminder that acts of kindness can inspire others to chase their dreams, just like Jiseok did.
