Fans, including EXO-Ls, gathered early at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur, dressed in purple and armed with light sticks. The energy was palpable even before the concert began, with everyone eagerly awaiting Lay's performance.
As the SYOK team settled into their seats, the lights dimmed, and Lay made his grand entrance with his song "SHEEP," literally riding a sheep prop onto the stage. He then continued to captivate the audience with hits like "BOSS," "Lay Down If You're Tired," and "Lit."
Lay, affectionately known as 'Abang Lay' to his Malaysian fans, interacted warmly with the audience, expressing how much he missed Malaysia and its delicious food. He shared his fond memories and experiences, creating a sense of intimacy and connection with the crowd.
The concert continued with an impressive setlist, featuring bangers like "Mornings With You," "Before You Let Go," "Psychic," "Staring At The Sun," and "Step." Lay also performed personal favorites such as "Human In You," "A Legend," "I'm Still Learning," and "BREATHE," each performance more electrifying than the last.
It was an unforgettable night, with Lay Zhang showcasing his growth as an artist. His performance and stage presence have only improved, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. The SYOK team had an incredible time, and it was definitely a night to remember.
Thank you, Lay Zhang, for an amazing show. We hope to see you back in Malaysia very, very soon!
