First, just to get you up to speed on what the movie is about…
In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe.
All with connected, yet conflicting, objectives, on the world’s fastest train!
Here are some bits from the film that we absolutely love!
#1 Lemon and Tangerine
You can’t help but just love the “brothers” Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) and Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), who in the film are referred to as “brothers.”
One of the best bits in Bullet Train is without a doubt the chemistry between Lemon and Tangerine.
Early on in the film, we found out that their mission is to protect the Son. Although there’s not much that we know about Lemon and Tangerine, their introductory scene already tells us everything we need to know about their relationship!
All we can say is that the two men clearly care about each other more than they are willing to admit.
#2 Ladybug vs. Tangerine
This scene is practically one of the most creative action sequences in the film… and it doesn’t shy away from brutality. So, before watching the film, please remember that this is an 18+ film, so be prepared for some blood.
The fight scenes are very stylish and choreographed which feels almost like a dance. Not only that but, Brad Pitt also did his own stunts for the film, so it’s definitely worth the watch!
#3 The surprise cameos!
Along the way, Ladybug comes into contact with friends, enemies, and… random dudes.
There are two cameos in the film that feature two actors who managed to get a laugh out of everybody in the cinema. Both are somewhat small roles, but they definitely make an impact. We can’t tell you who it is, so you just have to watch the film yourselves!
All in all, if you’re looking for an action flick that’s thrilling and ridiculous, you’re in for a treat!
