The quartet launched their channel six years ago, when they made their debut, and are currently the top music act on the platform. On Monday (Sept 5), they hit the 80 million milestone.
In November 2021, they became the first musical act to reach 70 million subscribers.
Justin Bieber, a Canadian musician who is approaching the milestone with 69.9 million subscribers right now, was passed by fellow K-pop megaband BTS last month after they passed the 70 million subscriber threshold.
American DJ and producer Marshmello comes in at number four on the list, ahead of British singer Ed Sheeran, American rapper Eminem, and American vocalists Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Katy Perry.
On September 16, Blackpink will release its second album, Born Pink, and at the end of the year, the group will start a world tour.
Pink Venom, the album's lead track, debuted on August 19 and set records on YouTube with 90.4 million views in a single day.
It has over 268 million views on YouTube, where it is now categorized as "#1 On Trending For Music."
