One stage, three stars; a New Year’s night powered by pure J-pop energy. Resorts World Genting is kicking off the 2026 with an electrifying celebration of anime and pop culture as the Anime Fantasia Live at RWG takes over from 29 December 2025 to 3 January 2026.
As part of the six-day celebration, fans can look forward to an immersive festival experience, featuring ACG exhibition booths, official merchandise sales, daily cosplay competitions, mini games, fan meet-ups and much more – transforming Resorts World Genting in to the ultimate year-end otaku destination.
Culminating the celebration is a high-energy concert on 3 January, bringing together three unique acts on one stage. The evening will feature Japanese pop icon Airi Suzuki, renowned for her journey from Hello! Project Kids to °C-ute and Buono! before launching her successful solo career.
Loved across Asia for her signature charisma and polished J-pop style, Airi’s appearance is set to be one of the most anticipated highlights for fans in Malaysia. Joining her is noa (乃紫), the rising Gen-Z singer-songwriter whose dreamy, self-produced sound has captured millions across Japan. Since her debut in 2022, she has built a strong following through tracks and viral hits like Any angle (全方向美少女), quickly becoming one of the most intriguing new voices in modern J-pop. Her performance at Resorts World Genting will bring her signature blend of intimacy and intensity to a live audience for the first time in Malaysia.
Adding a local touch to the lineup is KLP48, Malaysia’s very own international sister group within the AKB48 family. With a diverse roster of members from Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia and Hong Kong, the multilingual group has made a strong debut with energetic stages and their release of “Heavy Rotation.” Their New Year performance at Arena of Stars promises the upbeat, fan-favourite idol charm that has defined the 48-group legacy worldwide.
Together, these artists will deliver an electrifying night of music and pop-culture celebration, blending idol energy, contemporary J-pop and the youthful spirit of anime fandom to open the
new year on a high note.
Tickets are priced at RM258 (VIP/Standing), RM288 (VIP/Seating), and RM228 (PS1). A processing fee of RM4 applies per ticket.
