Here’s a treat for all the Star Wars super fans out there!
In conjunction with the release of the final episode of the Skywalker Saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Pos Malaysia Berhad, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Malaysia, unveiled its inaugural Star Wars-themed limited edition stamp series!

The series features 10 special stamps of iconic Star Wars characters, including Rey, Lando Calrissian, Jannah, Kylo Ren, the red-armoured Sith troopers and our all-time favourites, Chewbacca and C-3PO.
Vehicles and droids from the Star Wars series will also be featured such as Poe Dameron’s X-wing, the Imperial TIE Fighter, and the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” – the Millenium Falcon.

Fans will be able to purchase the limited-edition Star Wars stamps starting from 18 December 2019 by pre-purchasing it via Pos Malaysia’s online store at www.eziemall.com under the “Stamps & Collectibles” link. You can then purchase the stamps at all 13 General Post Offices nationwide from 2 January 2019.
The limited edition Setem Ku series will also only be available for purchase in a complete folder set and not sold separately. The complete folder set, which is priced at RM120 each, consists of two sheets of perforated stamps; namely ‘The Resistance’ sheet and ‘The First Order’ sheet. One sheet will feature the official poster stamp of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with a spot UV printing technique highlighting the lightsaber duel scene between Rey and Kylo Ren, three pieces of souvenir covers with five stamps on each cover, and a Star Wars logo cancellation mark, two pieces of post cards and a folder with special die-cut and spot varnish printing. The set is even more valuable with a bonus paper model of Poe Dameron’s X-wing, which comes with an instruction sheet!

For those on a tight budget, a special pack consisting of a miniature sheet featuring three stamps of popular Star Wars droids such as C-3PO, R2-D2, D-O and BB-8, a presentation pack with tear-off postcards and one Millennium Falcon-designed envelope will also be available for purchase for only RM10.
