As the grandson of legendary private detective Kosuke Kindaichi, Hajime Kindaichi has a lot to live up to, so when a series of seemingly unsolvable murders take place throughout the city, Kindaichi turns his genius-level IQ to the task at hand. Despite only being in high school, the young Kindaichi is able to deduce and solve where other detectives fall flat. Accompanied by his childhood friend Miyuki, Kindaichi’s abilities bring him to the attention of the chief inspector of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Isamu Kenmochi, and the trio work together to solve the unsolvable and bring those responsible to justice.
