Recently, a 19-year-old Sarawakian went viral after sharing that he had to hike up a mountain for 2 hours just to get a better internet connection for an online interview.

In the video, the teenager can be seen sitting on a bemban mat under a shelter that was built by his father, Sa Ujom.

His older brother, Mario shared the video on Facebook of his 19-year-old brother, Frank, sitting for the interview.

Apparently it was raining heavily and Frank’s pants were soaked during the interview. Ala, kesian betul!

“Leeches bit his legs, yet he preserved and is determined to get himself into the university,” his brother told the Borneo Post.

Mario added that there is WiFi installed in their rumah panjang, however, the connection is not strong enough for online interviews.
