vaccinated people can’t carry or spread the virus

A new study from the US’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that those who have been vaccinated may be far less at risk for transmitting COVID-19.

CDC director Rochelle Walensky confirmed that the current vaccines on the market work among frontliners. The research included data from nearly 4,000 healthcare workers, first responders and other essential workers across eight locations around the United States.

The data collected should offer hope to those receiving COVID-19 vaccines, thus, bringing an end to this devastating pandemic.

Participants’ risk of infection was reduced by 80% after the single dose of either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines. Their risk of infection was then reduced by 90% after the second dose.

And a clinical trial released recently found that the Pfizer vaccine was 100% effective in children ages 12 to 15.

So without infection, a person cannot spread the virus.

Hopefully, these findings could signal a speedier return to the normal, freer life the world is eagerly waiting for.
