The COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV) announced that 97.8% of all adults in the Klang Valley eligible for vaccination have already received both doses.

The attendance at vaccination centres (PPV) in the Klang Valley has been falling as the number of those still unvaccinated was now low.

“The walk-in vaccination programme in the Klang Valley will be stopped after September 15th,” he said during a handover ceremony between him and the Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Wednesday (September 8th).

The list of public health clinics will be announced later.

Adham also said the downward trend of new COVID-19 cases was a “good sign” for the country and proved that vaccines work!

“Many have been asking why the daily vaccination numbers are smaller nowadays. This is actually a good sign. This shows that many Malaysians have already been vaccinated,” he said.

Hurry and go get yourself vaccinated, guys!
