PICKids Vaccination Opens For Five Days Starting Today (June 20th)!

The National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) will be open for five days starting Monday (June 20th) to Friday (June 24th) for children aged five to 11.
Deputy Health Minister, Datuk Dr. Noor Azmi Ghazali said the vaccination drive was in conjunction with the 2022 National Immunisation Week on June 16th with the theme: “Perlindungan Sepanjang Hayat Untuk Semua” which translates to Lifelong Protection For All.

According to Malay Mail, Dr. Noor Azmi said that the opening of the vaccination is for parents who wish to get the COVID-19 vaccine for their children who missed or didn’t get an appointment.
He added that parents could get the vaccination for their children, without an appointment at health clinics under the ministry until Friday.
Parents who had just learned about the COVID-19 vaccination or had just decided to allow their children to get vaccinated are encouraged to take up the opportunity!
However, the distribution of the vaccines is based on the stick on the day, and if the day’s stock has run out, parents will have to return the next day.
