As for boarding school students, the Education Minister says only those sitting for these exams will be allowed to return to their dorms.

Meanwhile dates for other students will be announced later and that for now, they will  continue their learning from home.

With the reopening of schools, Dr. Mohd Radzi urged parents and school staff to follow SOPs provided by the Education Ministry and the National Security Council, to ensure a safe environment.

This includes practicing proper social distancing measures, whereby classroom tables will be placed one meter away from each other, and each classroom will hold a maximum of 20 students at one time.

Also, recess will be done in stages and students will not be dining at their school canteens.

Instead, students will take their pre-packed meals from the canteen and observe their break time in their classrooms.

Meanwhile, the relevant authorities are still drafting the guidelines for school buses.
