With just days to go before the rollout of the National Covid-19 Immunization Plan, Malaysians are eagerly awaiting their turn to receive the jabs.

But some are understandably also nervous because they don’t know what the process entails.

Our Health Minister, however, assures that you’ll be in and out in a jiffy.

Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba told Astro Awani that authorities have already conducted practice runs, and the entire process from the time you arrive to the time you get your jab will only take around five to ten minutes.

You are then required to undergo a 15-30 minute period of routine observation, just to make sure you’re OK before being sent home.

All in all…the whole thing should only take around half an hour.

Also, if you can’t make it for your vaccine appointment because you’re ill, for example, you’ll be rescheduled to the next available slot.

The dose assigned to you will then be given to the next person in the queue, to ensure that the vaccine does not go to waste.

The first batch of Covid-19 vaccines will arrive in Malaysia this Sunday, ahead of the rollout of the first phase of vaccination on the 26th

Frontliners will be the first to get the jab, followed by those in the high-risk group, while the third wave will involve the rest of the population.
